Choral Workshop at ECA
On Thursday April 9, 2013 the International Christian School (ICS) 7th-12th grade choir will be attending the ECA Choral Workshop. Students will arrive at ECA around...
ICS Caracas is nestled in the heart of Caracas, Venezuela in an area called Las Colinas de Bello Monte (the hills of the beautiful mount). We are approximately 10 minutes from the US embassy and five minutes from the downtown area of Las Mercedes where all Caraquenos spend much of their free time shopping, eating, and socializing with one another.
Our school, slightly hidden from general passers-by, is inside a gated community shared by two other small schools. At ICS, the safety of our students and staff is very important to us. The entry gates to the school compound are closed during school hours and opened only by school personnel. There are also locked gates to enter into the school building that can be opened only by a buzzer or by key. Although there is no eminent danger around us, it is our desire to be preemptive and secure our students’ safety. Besides the gate system, the Elementary school is also equipped with a camera and computer monitor screen to view the various areas of the school.
At ICS Caracas, we believe in small class sizes and individual attention. For this reason students are in small classrooms where they are able to develop healthy social skills amongst their peers while receiving a quality, academic education at the same time. Whether they are in physical education class on the basketball court, learning music theory in the music/choir room, reading from a selection of classic authors in the school library, completing research for their classes in the computer lab or studying the Spanish language in the Spanish room, students will receive an excellent education from teachers who care.
ICS Caracas is located in Las Colinas de Bello Monte, next to Colegio La Concordia, on Calle Caicara between Avenida Suapure and Avenida Tocuyo. For further directions, contact the school.
The map below shows the location of the school. The “A” marker shows the elementary building entrance and the “B” marker shows the secondary and administration building entrance. Use the driving directions feature of Google Maps to get directions.
