Students have been working hard on inquiry based projects which are ready to be displayed. The festivities will begin with an egg drop contest and also include presentations of student projects. Due to road construction in the area we regret that we are not able to invite guests to the event this year. ICS is proud of the hard work that students have put into their projects and we look forward to seeing them on display.

The project aspires to include artwork from every nation in the world with messages of peace and goodwill. The winner of the ICS artwork competition was Caroline Berkey. You can view the winning piece and more information about the peace quilt here. Thank you to all the students who participated in the competition. We are very honored and thankful that we were chosen to represent the beautiful country of Venezuela.

January 17-18 Secondary Finals – 12:20pm release in secondary only on both days.
January 19-20 – No School - Professional Days at ICS & The Annual VANAS Conference
International Christian School has a professional day on the 19th to transition to second semester classes, finalize reports, and participate in a workshop on conflict resolution.  The 20th is our annual professional day at the premiere international school conference for Venezuela held each January. These events have been posted on our calendar since last spring.
February 6 -10 is Spirit Week. Student leaders are currently working on theme and activities.
Read-a-thon is coming….. Start collecting your reading material now! Secondary students will have a chance to win a special prize this year!
January 23 – Second semester (Quarter 3) begins.
